EuroMillions New Rules 2020

SUMMARY OF CHANGES

- Jackpot Cap rising to €250.000.000

- More EuroMillions Superdraw will take place

- More money to go to jackpots

- The ticket price and odds will remain the same

Since last February 4th, 2020, the EuroMillions draw introduces some important changes that affect all the countries where it is played (Austria, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, United Kingdom and Switzerland).

Increased Jackpot Cap

The maximum jackpot has been increased to €250.000.000. Until the changes introduced on February 4th the jackpot was €190.000.000.

How does it work?

Once the jackpot reaches €200.000.000, if no one wins the jackpot, €10.000.000 will continue to grow in each draw, reaching the maximum of €250.000.000.

If there are no winners when the jackpot reaches €250.000.000 the jackpot will be shared among the rest of the winners.

Jackpots Will Grow Bigger More Frequently

With the new EuroMillions rules there will be more big jackpots and in less time. €100.000.000 jackpots are estimated to arrive after 8 draws instead of the current 11 draws.

More Superdraws

Starting in 2020 there will be three EuroMillions Superdraw a year, instead of two that there were until now.

The EuroMillions draw will continue to be held every Tuesday and Friday in Paris, with a minimum jackpot of € 17,000,000 and at the same price.
